September: Autumn and knitting!

Happy September to you all, especially those of you who were faintly pleased to be depositing your little darlings at the school gates this week.

Autumn is virtually upon us, so we have stocked up on cardigans and jackets, coats and boots, plus twinkly, pretty things to cheer us up as the last quarter of the year approaches.

We won't say the 'C' word just yet, but we are full to the brim of little delights that won't put pressure on your purse, and the more organised of you might call them 'stocking-fillers'. And that's enough of that subject for now.

Now then, I've got the knitting bug (I say 'knitting' but I'm really 'knotting' at this stage), and wondered if a knitting/sewing/craft circle might interest anyone? I was thinking that we could convene for a couple of hours on a convenient afternoon and knit and natter (or sew etc). We could set a couple of very easy starter projects for knitting, hand sewing and beading, help you as you go, then when you felt confident, just come along with your own projects. (Don't worry, it won't be me that helps with the knitting!)
